Elegant Floral Design : The Grand Texana

As a Houston wedding florist, I have the amazing opportunity to work with talented Houston wedding vendors. Whether I am working with wedding photographers or coordinating with wedding venues, I love getting to collaborate with other creative professionals to create beautiful wedding events. I recently had a chance to collaborate with Houston wedding photographer, Reed Gallagher to provide floral arrangements and floral design for a styled wedding photography workshop.

Elegant Wedding Florals at The Grand Texana

Reed Gallagher hosts a limited number of custom, styled wedding photography workshops for photographers who are looking to gain more experience in wedding photography. For this workshop, the goal was to create a dreamy, elegant feeling. I was so honored to participate at this styled shoot at the Grand Texana. I was selected to create the floral arrangements and floral arch based on the design and vision that Reed had laid out. I was so excited to be selected as a part of this shoot. It was truly a gift to be able to create these arrangements and enhance the vision for this shoot.

As far as romantic Houston wedding venues go, the White Barn at the Grand Texana is high on my list. When I have a chance to create the wedding florals at a White Barn wedding, I am always excited. With the rolling acres of lush, green farmland and the charming restored barn, it makes for a perfect backdrop for a lovely wedding infused with rustic elegance.

For this elegant styled wedding shoot, I loved how the images turned out. The wedding arch I created looks beautiful with the sun just starting to set behind it. Styled photography shoots like this one are such a great way to collaborate creatively with other Houston wedding professionals. Plus, it gives us all an opportunity to learn and grow.
