Romantic Wedding Florals : Balmorhea Weddings & Events

I am so excited to share some images of the wedding florals I created for a romantic wedding photo shoot at Balmorhea Weddings and Events, just outside of Houston. Creatively styled wedding inspiration photo shoots help to showcase venues and their versatility. It was such an honor to be a part of this creative collaboration and I was so happy to create the wedding florals for this photo shoot. Our goal was to create a design that had never been done at Balmorhea before to show brides the true versatility of the venue.

Wedding Florals at Balmorhea Weddings and Events

When it comes to Houston wedding venues, Balmorhea is one of my favorites. It offers an elegant waterfront escape, perfect as a backdrop for any wedding. With its pristine, beautifully landscaped property, it is a beautiful backdrop for your dream wedding. I was so excited to create an array or romantic wedding flower arrangements for our styled wedding photo shoot.

Balmorhea has both a beautiful ballroom and a gorgeous outdoor space for ceremonies with magnificent, old, oak trees. The ballroom has high, vaulted ceilings and a stunning fireplace. That fireplace just begged for florals! I created some elaborate, elegant wedding floral arrangements to dress up that fireplace. The soft ivory and blush blooms really elevated the area, creating a romantic floral backdrop for wedding portraits. Especially with the bride’s dreamy gown from Belle Ame Bridal! Plus, when combined with the linens from Lovely Grace Events, it gave this rustic wedding venue a much softer, feminine style.

One of my favorite things about romantic wedding inspiration photography shoots like this one is how it gives me a chance to collaborate creatively with other Houston wedding vendors. I love being able to think outside of the box to create unique wedding floral arrangements for many different wedding styles! Balmorhea is such a versatile Houston wedding venue that it easily can look more rustic, more romantic, or even more European with the right wedding florals, linens and décor.
