Sunnie and AJ had a beautiful spring wedding at the Meekermark. I was so happy to be asked to be their florist for this beautiful wedding.
Sunnie was a budget-conscious bride. It’s so important to me to work within my bride’s budget to create beautiful wedding florals. I always try to get creative to help couples stay within their budget. And, with a wedding at the Meekermark, it’s already a beautiful backdrop. I was excited to work on this wedding. The Meekermark is such a unique Houston wedding venue, with a spectacular outdoor ceremony location. Everything is open and airy, so I wanted to make sure the florals complemented the décor while staying true to Sunnie’s vision.
Sunnie’s color palette was dusty blues with hints of blush with blooms in ivory. I incorporated the blue in long, streaming ribbons that elegantly hung from the bouquets. I also designed centerpieces for each of the tables and created intricately woven garlands for the long, farmhouse tables. I was really excited with the final result. I love how a woven garland looks on a long table- it’s such a gorgeous balance of rustic elegance.
Everything about this Houston wedding at the Meekermark turned out beautiful. I love seeing the photographs that Rachel and Chris that Rachel Driskell Photography took! It really was a wonderful day. I’m so thankful that Sunnie approached me to be the florist for her spring wedding at the Meekermark! I loved creating beautiful wedding florals for a budget-conscious bride!
